Michelin makes the best performance tires at least if you like performance sports cars but too bad they are French.
There is no question that they are being hypocritical. The reality is over the last 6 months, corporate America made a decision to side with BLM being a mainstream organization and one that is not controversial. As a result they are excluded from the typical wedge causes/groups like MAGA, ALM and police organizations. This is where we are headed. Some of the blame belongs at the feet of the President for purposely being divisive and the American people having enough of it. Some of it is because BLM has proven to be incredibly successful. Some of it is that governments and businesses do not want anarchy on their hands from a peasants revolt and some of it is that Wall Street has made a calculated risk that BLM will win the minds of America long term.
I don't know, sounds fishy and it's strange that a news outlet would just run with it without doing some homework, but, from what I can tell...there was no follow-up with the plant to find out if it was a real slide. https://www.wibw.com/2020/08/18/goodyear-employees-say-new-no-tolerance-policy-is-discriminatory/
More interesting that you equate MAGA with BLM or gay pride. One is a cause to get rids of immigrants, another is to stand up to police brutality. How are those comparable? I could understand if you compared MAGA to Antifa or White Nationalism. But BLM? Really?
Also... what was the context? What did the presenter say? What were the before and after slides? Also, is this company wide or something that Toby came up with on his own?
I do not agree with BLMs mission statement. I sure as hell don't agree with white nationalism. Where did I equate anything? The italics weren't my words.
Yet again the PR organization of a major American company is forced to respond to the insanity in the white house. Everyone should look forward to saner days ahead...
No idea...nothing in the story goes into any detail about the rest of the presentation...other than it was diversity training. However, this seems to be the only picture taken. There's no person in the picture and it's in a conference room. Hell, I could whip up something that looks like that in about 10 minutes, throw it up on my conference room wall, take a picture, and claim the same thing. Something just seems off about this.
The fact that they used those organizations specifically makes me think it is faked, they are all too hot button to be examples.
