Yeah after reading that it doesn’t seem like much of a big deal. That last sentence is hilarious though.

She was also in her 20s at the time so not underage. We'll have to wait and see what happens. This particular incident isn't a smoking gun situation

    Well, there's this from today:

    https://www.politico.eu/article/bill-clinton-comeback-coming-soon-us-democrats/

The Bill Clinton comeback is coming soon
His centrism is out, but his way of making an argument deserves a revival.

He is a former President and whatever else he still is a great speaker and I expect he will give a good speech.

All that said with someone with his political instincts given the heat right now I would think he would know to lay low.

I don't think he is a great speaker anymore he did not do well in 2016 for Hillary IMO and I love Bill Clinton like a brother from another mother.

You are dead on with that last sentence, just seems like a no brainer.

I saw his eulogy for John Lewis and he still seems to have it. He does have political instincts but he also has a very inflated sense of self-worth so maybe that overrules any concerns he might have.

Anyway it sounds like the DNC is just giving him his token spot as due as former president.

    I am .
I have seen very few politicians explain the things like Bill Clinton does. It is simple words but makes a ton of sense.

to defend them from getting a massage in which the masseuse claims there was nothing untoward that happened at all and there has been no complaint of inappropriate behavior? Sure. There isn't anything to defend from, as of yet.

Just saw the DNC is going to show a video of Joe Biden and John McCain’s friendship tonight narrated by Cindy McCain. Get ready for some rage tweets about McCain.

I’m watching the keynote address given by 17 people. It seems too gimmicky. This should’ve just given it to AOC.

whether you like her or not I think it would’ve been less distracting than this

Well here it is. The simple way to contrast

"Now you have to decide whether to renew his contract or hire someone else. If you want a president who defines the job as spending hours a day watching TV and zapping people on social media, he's your man. Denying, distracting, and demeaning works great if you're trying to entertain and inflame. But in a real crisis, it collapses like a house of cards.

COVID doesn't respond to any of that. To beat it, you've got to go to work and deal with the facts.

Our party is united in offering you a very different choice: a go-to-work president. A down-to-earth, get-the-job-done guy. A man with a mission: to take responsibility, not shift the blame; concentrate, not distract; unite, not divide.
    Our choice is Joe Biden.
Joe helped bring us back from a recession before, and he can do it again."

If someone said that this was literally the worst convention in the history of politics... well, they wouldn't be wrong. Is anyone even watching?

Have to agree with you. It's a great middle ground between the high-minded professorial crap that turns so many away from modern liberals and the playground insult schtick of a Trump.
