Good win. Not to be a downer, but, is Springer's injury serious too? And when can we expect Yordan back? If injuries are this bad I'm not very confident in the squad come playoff time.

I'd rather have the injuries now than later

I suppose, but it's hard for me to be excited about this year's playoffs. If this were a normal year it would be perfect to win the WS to shut up the haters, but if we win, we'll just double the number of "asterisked" titles we have. I'm just being very realistic.

There was a miscommunication, the Rockies manager signaled to bring in the additional infielder and the ump thought he was signaling for the intentional walk.

As a Rockets fan I can handle the national media asterisks.

What a gem of a game by the pitching too. Man we need guys back in our lineup in the worst way right now but today I'll take a W.

On walking Murphy in the 10th, Baker said he wanted no part of Murphy, who he knew well as a dangerous hitter from his Nationals days.

When Rockies manager Bud Black signaled for a 5-man infield by putting his hand up, the Astros thought they were signaling to walk Straw, which is why he went to first originally before coming back for the walk-off hit.

Dusty Baker said Yordan Alvarez is getting a second opinion on his knee. Also, he said Springer was set to pinch-hit today late in the game.

On pinch-hitting Correa in the 11th, Baker said: "I didn't think they were going to walk Correa."

Scrubb has pitched over 10 innings this season and has an ERA of 0.00. We traded Tyler White's fat butt to the Dodgers for this young stud. Between 2017, Yordan and now Scrubb, we just keep putting the hurt on the LA Dodgers, I'm loving it.

Really... he didn't think they'd walk Correa to get to the scheduled Mayfield and Straw?

Doubling the pleasure, Oakland getting it handed to them 9-1. Take out their two fluke million to one shot wins against the Giants this past weekend and the Astros and A's would actually be tied in the loss department after today.

As players finally (hopefully) get and stay healthy, and A's playing more to their skill level, I wouldn't be surprised if the Astros win the division by 4+ games.

Not going to worry much about the A’s trying their hardest to win a division that still has you potentially out in a first round best of 3 matchup... especially if they go to a bubble format where there is literally no home-field advantage (other than getting the last AB).

Astros just need to get healthy and maintain their already impressive pitching sans JV/Osuna. The young kids are all playing tremendous... and while they all won’t stick, there is a lot more talent there than thought of at the beginning of the season when people were joking about who they were bringing in out of the pen.

There are no asterisk titles in Houston.

I mean 2020 would be a legitimate asterisk title but only because you have to denote that it was different than any other year.
