This dude showed up to training camp out of shape in a title contending season and has the nerve to talk about his relationship with Harden? **** off CP3!
He didn't say anything bad... Lol. He just said they aren't friends. Pretty much your typical work relationship that you may have with any colleague you work with.
I believe we all knew that. I don’t think Harden has many friends he’s played with. Except the obvious PJ/Westbrook. I also don’t think he dislikes anyone either.
CP says this but we’ll see how he really feels in about 20 minutes and I bet the butt hurt will shine through.
Exactly. Many employees are friendly with each other, but how many are best buds. Answer, very few. CP3 and Harden are friendly employees of the NBA, but they are not best buds. How many of us text people we are friendly with but are not our friends? Answer again, very few. Harden's NBA best bud is Westbrook, and CP3's are LeBron, Anthony, and Wade. Media needs to stop making stories that aren't there. Too much hate is being made by the media that really isn't there. Media needs to stop promoting hatred for exciting story purposes..
You mean be a competitor. I mean that’s no secret he’s one of the most competitive players in the league. If you’re not trying to win sit on the bench
Chris Paul is just thankful he isn't guarding Durant in the post (yet again). Good luck to him, but I bet he doesn't make the conference finals without someone to carry him there. Back to his sad career trajectory outside of his time at Houston.
I cant imagine too many of Chris' ex teammates are hitting his daughter up on her birthday unless they have a political or business angle. Thats the life you live when you're a politician. Nothing wrong with it but relationships are not deep in that life.
Cp is an ultimate competitor but he’s also one of the most salty, petty, players to ever play. I don’t mean that as a dis, I think it’s just part of his personality. To say that it’s all good and that he doesn’t take it personally is just disingenuous.
I disagree. He isn’t young anymore. He has so many other things to worry about and much bigger priorities than to worry about a media driven harden issue. He’s going to compete no matter if it’s lebron harden wade Pj . Doesn’t matter
Chris Paul really shouldn’t be upset. Players get traded all the time, it’s a business. Just because he’s a superstar doesn’t mean he should be treated differently than other players.
They are doing things they don't usually do. They are cutting to the basket, posting up and taking mid range shots.
CP0 has left every stop on bad terms. They hate his guts in clipper land and probably not liked in the rockets by his former teammates either plus he looks done
Chris got paid big bucks for his past playing time, not his present. He should be the first to know it's all a business. And if his current potential were better, he might've stuck in a place he actually wanted. Dwert maybe. One fart and clownshoes too many.
Called there would be friction after watching them play in the Drew League. 2 alpha males is one thing, but Paul barking at Harden up the court is another. We all accepted this at the time because we thought Paul may toughen up Harden a bit after his sulking in the SA series. But, James wasn't going to let a player get traded to his team and let him dictate the system or flow of the game and question him on top of it. Got too big for his britches for James, and was gone shortly after. To get out from under that contract was all the extra motivation Morey needed to get a deal done. That deal was terrible the moment the ink dried, throw in a few picks, now you've parlayed that into another top 10 player. Thanks CP3. We'll still never get over that hammy though...
