Simmons honestly isn't a Harden hater... He was one of the first big vocal fans of Harden since the trade to Houston and has praised his game many more times than take any cheap shots... I think him being close to Russillo(a notable HATER) is why he'll give takes like this at times, but definitely wouldn't say he hates James having heard and read a lot of his content.
And Russillo was praising Harden's shooting and passing game, so referring to him as a hater is also way overblown.

Oh I know this. He’s an excellent writer that’s why he has so many readers. I’ve talked to him about the Rockets last year.
Yeah I thoroughly enjoyed "The Book of Basketball" and I agree he's a very good writer, but I don't think that's why.... I know you wouldn't say Max Kellerman is an excellent analyst and First Take is a great show because they have so many viewers...lol
