Don't know the price of crawfish but some of these places are charging over 2 bucks for a fried wing piece.

But yeah too much effort with those little buggers but the payoff can be great.

Hey! That’s like my parents constantly reminding me how lucky I am to live during a certain presidency.

Anyways, after reading this thread I’ve decided that people who don’t like ice in their drinks are overrated.

I’m with @Pole . I will put extra ice in my fountain drink. Nothing like a frosty Coca Cola or Dr Pepper when you’re feeling down.

Now it's that I should go to art school and comparing and contrasting the family eye and hair color...

Weddings in general. My wife still talks about what she “wishes we did”.

I think she only married me... to have a wedding.

    Food for pleasure
    Ice in Drinks
    Lime in Drinks

    NY Pizza

    Are totally legit.

Are you all in fact ****ing morons with horrible taste?

I'm personally not a foodie. I appreciate great food, but I could live on PBJ for the rest of my life.

I also said my grandma was trying to talk me into going to art school, but I'm a tad too old to start a new, starving career path.

Other than to water down what I'm drinking and take up space in whatever sized container I purchased as a to-go drink?

Pretty much everything I drink is already chilled. Unless it's a random restaurant that serves soda straight out of a can or a place where water is left out warm in a giant refillable container, and those are few and far between.

Can't speak for anyone else in this thread, but personally most definitely.

    big stupid trucks

and bucees ..or however you spell it... its a fuc*king gas station.. you dont hear any run about timewise, stripes etc.

maybe bucees is not as overrated as the marketing person for bucees is way WAY underrated. i mean this genius took a gas station and turned it into some kind of something..and that something is something virtually everyone talks about!
how was your trip? did you stop at bucees? cool you did!?? so did we!

and dont get me started on cleanliness
..the lot lizards are exclusively team flying j I trust their input more

Buccees came up with the crazy idea of having bathrooms that don’t give you crabs.

Now they can sell canned soda for $1.75.

Chilled is different from cold that's the reason for ice.

And normal don't gulp a drink before it goes from "chilled" to warm.

Just get less ice it's really not hard.:D

I am just ribbing you but people put ice in drinks for a reason that's not hard to figure out.

When I worked in restaurants I learned that Hispanic people are afraid of ice.

Bucees candy alone means the are not overrated.

Still I know no one who considers it have to destination spot, with that said none of those other places is on par with Bucees, they are the Taco Bells of truck stops.

I learned this as well driving past Home Depots. It didnt matter how hot it was, they never preferred ice.

    bucees candy sucks.
the entire place is the definition of overrated.

also i know these are fighting words here but austin is overrated..
ive been a ton over last 30 years or so and live near in houston but I have never 'gotten it'

i find it to be a yawn culturally and if thats the definition of 'weird' or artsy then I will take the 90s drug art scene in montrose over the try hard mecca that is austin.

now its interesting that the california guy is latching on and i know dudes from places like pacific beach california moving to austin. crazy..
to be fair jobs and once you get 1 mile inland california central is a lifeless pit

Daily coffee, for me. Never needed it. Don't plan on it. Some folks can't function without it.
