That's a small benefit of the virtual convention. Without the live crowd there really isn't much reason you need to watch it live. For that matter though these things have gotten so scripted there is very little surprises anymore.

I would watch it they ran a kind of family feud game show with the Bernie/AOC "family" on one side and the neoliberals on the other. That would be must see viewing.

I would love to watch that. They could do a Family feud for the Democratic and Republicans and then a Democratic versus Republican. You could have Trump's cabinet go up against a proposed Biden cabinet.

Not me. But that pitch, if anyone makes it, is a simple way to draw contrast for every voter.

Listening is a critical skill for just about any job that involves leadership or even interacting with other human beings. Not listening not only slows down one's ability to solve problems. It also creates new, unnecessary problems from scratch.

What's interesting about the pitch, to me, is that I think Trump won some key states by convincing a lot of forgotten white voters that he heard them.

AOC seems to have rabbit ears as well as being a little thin skinned.

You can't respond to every little perceived slight with your chin.

Especially if she wants to actually be a true leader of the party.

Better than Ted Nugent, Antonio Sabato Jr, My Pillow guy, Diamond and Silk...etc. ( Don’t care if it is a fake lineup, closest to Star power can muster up).

She's more interested in becoming the center of attention than in promoting unity in the Democratic Party, which is working to bring in a wide cross section of voters. Liberals, moderates, suburban women, independent voters, moderate conservatives. I can't say that she disappointed me, because I've never liked her. It has nothing to do with her politics. I'm as Left as she is on many issues. I simply don't like her.

No no no -- we only criticize democrats in this thread.

Actually I want to thank @Os Trigonum -- I had no idea this was happening, LOL, but I'm kind of enjoying having it on in the background while I answer student emails and cook dinner.

Bernie was good. Doug Jones was solid. (I have no idea what they looked like, but I did glance at Bernie and see all the firewood behind him. Hahaha.)
