Honestly, Blazers in 6. I think the Lillard/McCollum backcourt is too much to handle. Meanwhile, Portland can throw Collins / Whiteside / Nurkic at Anthony Davis Melo is the wild-card, though.
This board is funny... now everyone that was hoping the Blazers would get eliminated and complaining about all the media Lillard love are Blazers fans again. Lakers have no chance without Rondo. Portland in 6.
Portland got big men too and 6 fouls each. Portland, like us, will gladly trade your 2-pointer for my 3-pointer.
Exactly my point... it’s funny cause we all hate the Lakers the most and we also know the Blazers have the best shot to knock them out amongst everyone that was vying for #8.
This series is a #1 seed's worst nightmare -- playing a good team finally healthy that's red hot with momentum ... bonus with the weird bubble environment.
I’m just glad there is no cakewalk for the top seed in the West this year like it was for the Warriors in the past. Both Los Angeles teams face tough competition in the first round and one of them might get eliminated. Here’s to hoping it’s the Lakers. No franchise deserves it more.
I had no idea. I was under the impression he’d be out until much later in the playoffs if he was even to come back at all. This definitely helps them... let’s see how quickly he can shake off the rust. A healthy playoff Rondo is troublesome. He gave the Blazers all kinds of fits and was huge in helping make AD unstoppable when the Pels swept the Blazers just 2 years ago.
Portland has a lot going for them, but no, not going to happen. This is the LeBron James bubble invitational. The Lakers aren't allowed to lose to anyone before the WCFs or Finals. They'll go up 3-1, lose game 5, and blow the Blazers out in game 6.
will be intresting to see if the blazers get the same insane amount of free thros they have been getting the last 4 games aginist the lakers
