Couldn’t they have still made the switch?

In the end, it worked out fine... and there’s no rule that a bullpen pitcher can’t throw 2 full innings, despite it rarely being done in today’s game.

Good, want no part of James. He's just a thrower, not a pitcher at all.

Pretty sure Greinke saw James coming in and told Raley to run out to the mound.

SERIES WIN!!!! Greinke's first win of the season. His first start was weak but should have won his second and third. :( Good thing is he looks as locked in as ever before. Also a good bounce-back from Taylor. He, like Scrubb and Paredes, has "it," which is something James and Sanabria do not (to me).

Lot of frustrating L's this season. This W should have gotten us back to .500.

Greinke is back to normal now after a couple of ST starts to get back in shape.

Dusty just said on the post-game the ump told him since Raley crossed the lines, he'd have to face at least one batter.

Stros are now 2-0 with a 2 game streak in games that I do not watch.

Brooks Raley misunderstood what Dusty Baker's knuckles meant. Knuckles mean you're done, Baker said. Raley went out for the eighth thinking he was still going.

"Who knows, we might even get Yordan back this weekend, hopefully," Dusty Baker said.

Dusty Baker is still (kinda) likeable for now...but my lord he's like that semi-senile uncle that you find pouring orange juice into his cereal instead of milk.

Greinke proving a point -- even if hitters know it's coming, it doesn't matter?

He's one of a kind. I wish he still had his raw stuff from a decade ago, because that pitcher would be something else to watch.

Still waiting for his powers to galvanize this lineup.

people thought he would be a calming influence after the scandal, but that’s actually what Hinch does. Dusty is a war-time manager... he’s had plenty of drama on his past teams and he often uses it to fuel the fire.

Oh completely agree. Would be so nice if we got him even like 5 years sooner. He's still pretty good now but he's been really good for a long time.

Still can’t believe how dirty hunch did Greinke in game 7.

The Stros most likely would have had another parade.
