CP3 going to lead OKC to a 6 game victory over the Rockets. CP3 gonna do it all while Harden is by himself cause Westbrook is injured. okc is going to have our draft picks AND beat us in the 1st round
MOREY IS A GENIUS. HE DID THIS SO UTAH PLAYS TO WIN AND GET THAT 5TH SEED TO PLAY US SHORTHANDED. THEN WE’LL ANNOUNCE HES GOING TO BE READY. no. We’re actually screwed
ITS BEEN 26 YEARS!!!!!!!!askdaksdaksd And before those championships, nothing lined up for the Rockets. Ralph and Dream were supposed to be a dynasty.
We all know this. We also know things have to line up.. Rockets have had teams that were good enough to win, but stuff has never lined up.
And the 09 team that took the Lakers to 7 without Yao, Mutombo, and T-Mac due to injuries. That team with Artest, Battier, Kyle Lowry, Scolandry, Hayes, Brooks had a championship in them. I felt so strongly about that.
Absolutely, that team was poised to win it all that season, even after Tmac and Mutombo we still could've went all the way before Yao went down in that series. Then, in '17 no doubt in my mind we are champs if CP3 doesn't get hurt in Game 5. I know we won back to backs, but it's been nothing but s*** luck since then. The '97 illegal bear hug. Then in 98 after a so-so season we started going OFF in the playoffs against Utah then Barkley torn tricep. Freakin A man. I know things need to break your way to win a title, but this team could have had a couple more 'chips between 95 and now if their luck wasn't so damn miserable.
I'm not sure how you can look at this roster and these shooting percentages and think we are beating them without another star but ok
We dont need WB in the 1st rd... We might not need him in the 2nd rd.. He’ll be ready for the WCF. HARGOD will carry us!!!! #RunAsOne
This is fine. This is fine. "Westbrick sux and Rockets are better off without him!" or something like that...
It's possible, sure. I'm saying this schedule, the reduced rest between games and playoffs starting next week plus the reliance Russ has on athleticism make me an skeptic on having him full force again this season. I hope to be wrong, but as player and coach I have seen this injury a lot, and everytime I think to myself, "this person is not going to be playing the last day of the tournament". Now, I really wish the difference can be that I never had supporting staff and a professional athlete focused solely on getting back to play.
