The one thing I'm happy about is that she will NOT be AG. It has nothing to do with her personally, but the AG needs to be a non-political figure that both parties can respect and accept. People like Janet Reno, Alberto Gonzales, Eric Holder, and Loretta Lynch were not political types who were overly associated with partisanship, and that's good for the country. The John Ashcrofts and Jeff Sessions of the world are not. Part of fixing government has to be de-politicizing the Justice Department.

The problem I have with Kamala Harris is that she is extremely self serving and doesn’t really stand for anything. That is the reason I did not support her I’m 2020. She is very ambitious but lacks convictions. What I will say though, is Harris is incredibly bright and is far smarter and more talented than Trump/Biden or Pence. She also is an exceptionally talented prosecutor and is capable of ripping to shreds an opponent with her intellect. I had a very bright friend of mine say I am too hard on her, that what I see as insincerity is really that she tries too hard to be liked. He lives in California and is a Republican and while he doesn’t support her policies, he said she is quite capable. I can see how some are disappointed in this choice. Yes she is a black woman born to two minority parents, but she is an insider in many ways. She is married to an extremely rich entertainment lawyer. She lives a lazy lifestyle and she is very attractive. She also is not an idealogue. However Warren wasn’t an option and Bass had too much baggage.
