Trump is going forward with a "Law and Order" stance so the counter is to pick someone that's shown to be a Law and Order type person, but who also has some name recognition. Big hit on her lately is that she doesn't seem like she's ever really led...always waited for the political winds before making decisions. I'm sure that's going to get played up a bunch considering Biden's age. Not sure I would have went that way, but she's definitely not a boring-Time Kaine style pick.
