Rivers may have played himself into a nice contract next season. He can help a lot of teams with play like today. We will gladly keep him if he wants to stay and not get paid & Proudly say he is one of our bench leaders.

Mine too. If Rivers can do what he did when asked then he is not a minimum contract player. Random thought: To trade a player another team has to want said player and see value in said player then and most think said player can fill void in their team. Then also just as important, the other team has to offer a player of their own that does all the same things back to the other team. The last step is where most deals fall apart the new and old player’s contracts have to fit together and all the other fill-ins need to make both teams better going forward. If said player is aging Eric Gordon and his new extended contract VS Free Agent Austin Rivers which one will most teams pick?
