those are good points I think we should not just see the IC saying what foreign power wants, but evidence to back up those statements and to what extend are they interfering. Has there been any evidences that China or Iran is actively interfering ? Haven’t seen much of any evidences reported. Prior to 2016, there was no politicizing of foreign power interference in our election - everyone agree it’s a no no. We are here because trump not just welcomed it but pushed for it. Biden can make that point and promise to push for laws that make it a clear federal crime with severe punishment for any elected officials, including the POTUS, to seek for election interference from foreign power.

I get it. Your head is wrapped up in your team politics. You see the presidency as some grand trophy. The reality is the Presidency is not as powerful in the US as you like to make it out to be. He is not a dictator nor can he be a dictator. He can't make people wear face masks. He can't shut down tik tok. He has massive influence on the world. So yes, other nations and their citizens rightfully deserve an opinion. And your 'range of measures' is why there is a push to get rid of tik tok. Our social media companies largely curtail propaganda on their platform. Tik Tok wont. There is a big concern with propaganda being pushed through tik tok once the elections start heating up.
