Seeding is only important regarding matchup. It would be nice if we didn't have to go through the Clippers and the Lakers on the road to the finals. I don't really worry about any other teams other than these two. Lakers not as much cause they can't shoot. The Clippers are worrisome though we have played them well.
Just as long as they have Leonard the robot healthy, they got a chance. What's going on with them? Some player screwing another player's wife?
Trez is still out. And PG13 is the actual hero on that team now. They go where he goes. At least in regular season. Rockets do not fear the Clips.
The 5th seed will be okc it just feels like that in 2020. Cp3 vs houston. Jazz will tank for the nuggets
If Houston can beat blazer, I guess Lakers will lose to Houston to become 3rd seed, because they dont want to play Houston
Weird seeding story, need more game. They are normally amped up playing the big guys but when they play the Spurs or Sactown, they also play down to the opposition. I remember the Suns game.... turrible blowout.
I’m more optimistic that our focus is better. We’re not likely to play down in games that we’re supposed to win.
I don’t know if the Jazz will tank or not, but they’re not playing very well. Okc and Houston will fight it out for the 4th and 5th spots. A win against OKC will be a big boost for our guys. Go Houston Rockets!
True. I think it also laid out how opponents may have a chance. Shoot better than the Bucks and post up more than the Mavs. It has to be near perfect though. We all thought the team's chemistry inside the bubble seemed to be improved, but not this good. (PJ already has tired legs shooting but his D is great.)
As long as MDA keeps adjusting, is not hung up on 7-8 guys and Gordon starting when he comes back, then I’m confident. I still like to see him use Carrol and Mbah, just to see how they handle their playing time, but that’s like wishing to start farting rainbows. Gordon starting would be disastrous.
Is this the ideal situation now: Rockets finish 2nd - face Mavs first round Nuggets finish 3rd - face Jazz first round Clippers fall to 4th - face Thunder first round Would mean the Rockets don't have to face Lakers/Clips until WCF and avoid CP3 revenge? Would finishing 3rd and getting Jazz or Thunder instead of Mavs be a better scenario?
I think I would like it better if Rockets and Nuggets flipped in the scenario. Nuggets finish 2nd - face Mavs first round Rockets finish 3rd - face Jazz first round Clippers fall to 4th - face Thunder first round
