The only thing I miss about Dallas is this little Chinese place in one of the office buildings downtown called Wok N Roll. I had the orange chicken there four times a week.
My one trip to Hanks, Hank decided to go home and close down early, so we had to go elsewhere. It get's great reviews, but I wish I knew firsthand. Next time I visit my parents in SW Houston, I'll have to try again. RM-Tex....have you been to the Chocolate Bar on W. Alabama? I think it might be a bit yuppie for your tastes, but holy CRAP! Best ice cream I've ever had....and it also gets plenty of reviews from people claiming it's the best in Houston--as does Hank's. I'd really like to hear from someone who has had both.
Yes I have, and Hank's Ice Cream is better. Also, for those who didn't know, Hank's supplies all of the ice cream at the Toyota Center. By the way, I just got back from lunch, and that crack was damn good!
Skittles! I really have a sad addiction with them, gotta have like a pack a day. Goldfish Peanuts aren't too bad. French fries, I don't care from where, just give 'em to me.
