No, not the defense, although it was bad in stretches during the first half. It was your comment that the majority of the board doesn’t care about getting a championship that I called BS. I just got through watching the 1st half again and we either had a small lead or were within 2 or 3 points until under 5 minutes in the second. Burke was hitting nearly every 3 he threw up. On two of them, Westbrook, who should have been in his face, was wandering around for some reason and at least 10 feet away from the guy. Russ had a couple of turnovers that led to Dallas buckets. He also missed a couple of layups he usually makes, but that can happen to anyone. Two of the fouls called on Harden didn’t look like fouls. He was pissed off about it. It was doubling Harden between the 8 and 9 minute mark in the second, however, that was the difference. Harden couldn’t get off a shot, but made some excellent passes to open shooters. Sometimes the shooters hit their 3’s and sometimes they missed. That’s how they got the 10 point lead at the half, in my opinion. I complained about our defense during the 1st half, but we were ahead or within a couple until Dallas started to double James. More fouls than were deserved on Harden and Tucker had their impact, of course. That Harden had 4 fouls in the 1st half was ridiculous.

DAntoni is great at defensive adjustments. If the other team scores 149, he adjusts and makes sure to score 153 instead of the usual 130.

This year he predicts the Rockets win it all, but all the other years he hasn't. People here want him removed from the Rockets championships for doing his job on TNT.
