I don't get it. I've saw that "briefing" live and couldn't believe what trump said, and I've seen that replayed more than once. trump said exactly what you quoted. How "by injection inside" can be interpreted any other way than getting an injection is a mystery to me. As @B-Bob said, to paraphrase, why "die" on that hill?
