Its astonishing to see who has blue check marks next to their handles. Begs the question of what credibility it takes to gain one.
Reddick's hard hit almost double that ended up being caught was the difference of the game and it was the soft hit balls finding the right spot that got Valdez in trouble .. baseball happened. Carlos also had one that was almost a double. Win today. I hate the 2 game and 4 game series.
Bellinger yes. I would turn over that season to see him get his face beat with a bat. Would watch every day.
Joe Kelly looks like that awkward pubescent teenager that grew too many inches before he could fill out, has a scruffy face bc he hasn't figured out how to shave yet, and stumbles over himself like a baby giraffe.
The biggest issue I see with the Astros retaliating is that it seems every relief pitcher for the Dodgers throws near 100 mph. An eye for an eye battle with the Dodgers pitchers is something that will hurt the Astros more than help. Regardless Astros need throw at one of their players and get the first warning tonight.
Kelly gave up the 10th inning grand slam in game 5 against the Nationals. He was not a popular guy in LA so he decided to do something about that.
My first reaction was outright anger. Then, I remember what the Astros did. If the situations were reversed and the Dodgers cheated beating the Astros for the title, then I know I would be cheering on whatever player took revenge. Please don’t tell me you wouldn’t be because I don’t believe you. I wouldn’t want anyone getting hurt obviously.
I’m hoping for a lottt of down the middle line drives from the stros tonight. Let’s see which dodgers pitcher can get hit in the face.
The problem with this logic is if you want to throw at a guy fine, it's stupid, but you don't aim for the head. That's bush-league.
I wouldn't, now. In the past, I was more spiteful. Then again, every team underpays MILB players and cheats on service time like the Dodgers did with Bellinger in 2017. From the results of the Astros cheating, they weren't that good at it. Too many errors in misidentified pitches (about 7 percent). Now if the Astros had a high speed camera setup that gave better images of the catcher's signs, maybe they could have gotten the errors down such that it was a bigger advantage.
Are you referring to the incident with Brantley? If so, can you clear that up for me, I thought Brantley accidentally stepped on his foot? Was Kelly pulling "I'm gonna slip my foot under yours and hope you roll an ankle" move?
Absolutely. He’s a professional pitcher. Side of the bag is drilled into covering for both players’ safety.
I don’t expect any retaliation from HOU tonight. Unlike Kelly, the Astros are about winning (and professionalism). As a side note, I miss Hinch, but Dusty is really growing on me. I hope our players love playing for him. I haven’t seen them gel quite yet, but it’s a weird season. I’m glad we extended him...hopefully Espada takes over in 2022.
