    I think Dusty is who we thought he was - a relic who has no business managing in today’s game. Obviously the Verlander news is more consequential for the Astros’ season but what a frustrating decision by Crane to hire this guy.

    Be prepared for JV never being healthy again. He wasn't healthy in April to open the season. Now, he's injured worse after only one start.

    We can make playoffs without being at full strength with expanded postseason. Alvarez and Urquidy come back... Verlander comes back.... out young arms get some seasoning.... and we go for the kill come playoff time.

    We will make playoffs.
    We will crawl in..... but if we are healthy and get hot. Watch out. Verlander needs to be healthy for this to happen. Greinke will be in shape by playoff time.

    Not worried about him. Last year he had great numbers overall despite a rough first outing. He just needs time to make up for the pandemic-shortened ST. JV though :(
