Antifa burns minority communities and coopts their movements. Clearly they love minorities... for being useful sheilds.

Sending Federal Troops into Portland has worked wonders. Just look how peaceful it is there now.

This is just more dangerous escalation. I've been seeing on social media meme's like this:

I'm really worried we are just one incident away from setting off a bloodbath.

You are worried about memes when the rioters are out there escalating it.

A driver that ran over protesters was convicted of murder in Charlottesville.

As I pointed out to another poster this type of rhetoric is exactly the same as pro-Beijing people in HK said about protesters in HK.

They said that these protesters were violent, destroying the city, dividing the country and that national forces should be called in to suppress them because HKPD wasn't getting the job done.

Except HK have a just cause.

The rioters have no just cause.

    End of story.

To compare the two is insanely tone deaf and ignorant of HK. You are good at cherry picking pieces of things but you lack an understanding of the complexities at hand.

You look at those numbers from someone outside looking in and they would assume that the African American population are second class citizens in the US.

Yes, there is reason to protest and I would say there is more legitimate reason than HK protesters.

When people are protesting citizen's rights, liberty and freedoms being violated, maybe the proper de-escalation technique is not to violate their freedoms, liberty, and rights.

I don't agree with the violent protestors at all, but violence and constitutional violations sometimes incite more violence and constitutional violations, wouldn't you agree?

At this point, I think these protestors have forgotten what they were originally protesting, and now, they're simply out there because their rights are being violated.

This whole year has been a lesson on how not to run a country. Maybe not just a lesson, but a textbook. The research, I guess you could say, were the previous three years. It's a great Magnum Opus, wouldn't you say?

No. Your excuses don't excuse breaking the law. You want to falsely frame this as a protest. You don't have the right to riot and violate the law. Stop covering for these criminals.

You and others want to make this about Trump and frame yourselves as victims but you all are the side escalating it and asking for it by breaking the law.

Are you claiming there aren't peaceful protests?

Can you explain to me what vandalism and rioting that this man did to warrant DHS thugs to wack him like that?

They're mostly there to protect property and stay in one place until the "peaceful" protesters are emboldened to get right in their faces with their fireworks and lasers.
Once they become unpeaceful, the LEs are not only empowered to do their job, but also defend themselves.

They were destructive before the goons arrived - their actions attracted the extra attention.
