Well it would help if self labeled Libertarians also sincerely held their libertarian positions.

 

But capitalism is libertarian. (And pure capitalism doesn't work.) "Free market forces will solve the virus!" Yeah, right.

 

You need an educated well off society that doesn't have massive socioeconomic class disparities for true Libertarianism to work. United States as it is now isn't that society.

Capitalism would . . .
seek to monopolize PPE, pharma, and caregiving markets
make prices of tests and vaccines as high as possible
prefer expensive vaccines over cheap masks
oppose mask rules for customers of businesses
open schools so workers can go back to making profits for bosses
not give government loans to businesses

I think these are all bad qualities of capitalism, which we are wise to resist.

 

The good news, the guy was identified, arrested and fired (from the local Harbor Freight)...
