Name one GOP consultant that doesn’t have some ties to the oil and gas business world? These are Republicans... This reporting basically just reaffirms that fact and reinforces the point. That doesn’t mean that their project to shed light on FACTS about Trump is any less effective. Hell... it’s probably more effective knowing that it’s coming from inside the GOP frat house. These aren’t your do gooder AOC Democrats. These are your normal good ole boy wheelin and dealing Dick Cheney classic Republicans. Which highlights the FACTS even greater when even they are alarmed enough by Trump to speak out.

Being afraid of Russia is so 20th century. China is the new thing! Aren't you afraid Trump doesn't fear China (ok, and Russia) as much as Biden does? Whatever happens in the election, I just hope we still fear China (and Russia) in the aftermath. But don't you think Russia's kinda turning into China's Canada? But China has North Korea too. . . . I'm just afraid I'll stop being afraid of people.
I was expecting more in the article. So the connection is that one of the founders of the Lincoln Project registered to be an agent for a Russian company, but then backed out, didn't act as an agent and never took any money? That doesn't really mean anything to me. The financial issues of the founders of the project are more interesting but I don't see any proof of them misappropriating funds or anything of the sort. Further, they are not running for President... so their financial situation doesn't mean much. I am not surprised to see attacks like these though, I know that conservatives that work on campaigns, really do not like the Lincoln Project and have said they will not be able to work again in Washington.
The Lincoln Project has done damages to not just Trump but multiple GOP members and are attacking them directly. It's an all out war against today GOP and so it's no surprise that there are counter attacks on them from the GOP. As far as implying being under control by Russia and bringing chaos to the US... that's pretty much describing Trump. Saying Russia is bad and is a chaos creator in the US is not exactly the strategy the GOP wants to stand on, but here we are.
I’d be enthused for a giraffe over Trump. We’d likely be close to opening back up properly if during those press conferences he just sat there eating leaves.
