    I'm curious. I overpaid someone today and instead of getting the money back, I just said, eh, I probably owe you dinner for what a pain in the ass this job was anyway. A few years ago, the amount I blew off I would have taken time to get back.

    @donkeypunch had it right when he said it would be flying all over the place, but if it was bumper to bumper, creeping along, and it was right there and not moving, I might do it for a 20. Maybe. Only if I had a mask on, however. ;-)

    busy freeway it would have to be something good. Now on the side of the road or on the shoulder if something catches my eye I'll loop around and pick it up.

    Not really. I was thinking: How much money would it take to inconvenience someone? Some people are cheap and have this weird relationship with money. They wash and reuse plastic baggies to save a few cents. Some people just throw their money away. It's an interesting study.
