I'd be proud of it, if it was because everyone was wearing masks here coupled with our world class hospitals.

I don't trust the leadership at the state level on the issue of protecting the population of the state. They already have proven to be ineffective, although I will give Abbott credit for after the failure acknowledging it and no longer looking to the President for guidance.

Thanks for including the population part since I am absolutely shocked that the virus would spread in populated areas ( /s for sarcasm)

I just got back from arkansas and I can tell you the non maskers red states are really trying to catch up. Go go go!!

Trend line much bro? There's a reason why Texans are no longer allowed on the East Coast without quarantine.

This tonr reminds me of the people like bigtexxx who glibly claimed "at least we're not as bad as Italy" back in April.

Or who wrote articles like "Texas and Florida defeated COVID19" back in May

Meanwhile in Italy, everything is reopening, kids are getting ready to go back to school, and we're a ****ing basketcase with no plan, nationwide

Thanks a lot triumphalist early reopen morons - on behalf of all parents who are now full-time teachers in addition to their other jobs - if they're even lucky enough to be employed.

All because of assholes who didn't take this thing seriously. Despite multiple warnings.

I am sure Texas is branded the top state for businesses to survive the pandemic...... the state leaders have already showed they will put business before the health of the people.

Time to face facts brother - Texas is a top place to catch COVID19, one of the very best in the world - and it is a top place to die from it since cemetery space is plentiful as compared to places with more restrictive and expensive land. Try getting a plot in NYC. It doesn't work man.

Let me know if you disagree and why don't you just **** on the Alamo if you do.

Exactly, now that Joe and Elon are in Texas, I won’t have to worry about by parents dying from Covid any more, what a relief!
