Trump admittedly doesn't know if he should take insulin. Trump admittedly didn't know what Juneteenth was (this year), and was unaware his administration had sent out a release every year he has been in office commemorating June 19. Trump asked folks to look into injecting bleach to combat COVID. Trump didn't know the reason it was called COVID-19. The President of the USA says things like this: "Let Biden sit through an interview like this, he’ll be on the ground crying for mommy. He’ll say mommy, mommy, please take me home." Trump clowns around during the National Anthem even though he calls for the NFL to "fire the SOBs' who peacefully protest. Trump was surprised how many countries are in the world. Trump had no idea how many people get the flu and die from it in any given year. I could spend the rest of the day mentioning Trumps cognitive deficiencies, his lack of class, his hypocrisy, but why bother? People like you for some reason overlook all of his faults.
And if you watch the video (and signing that was a good thing he did), he asks the reporters if he (Trump) should be taking insulin. He wasn't prompted. He just asked. What do you say to him wondering if he should be taking insulin?
President Donald Trump announced a policy change that would mean Medicare recipients who pick a drug plan offering the new insulin benefit would pay a maximum of $35 a month starting next year.
But as Americans, we should be proud that we have a President who can: Identify a picture of a lion, rhino and camel Count backwards from 100 by 7 to 65 Draw a clock that points to 11:00 Memorize 5 words Recognize when the letter A is spoken Memorize some numbers Be able to recite 11+ words beginning with the letter F in 1 minute What has America become when we have to praise a President who can do those things AND the President wants to be praised for it? I'd rather him have the cognitive ability to recognize and deal with a pandemic (among most everything else)
As I said, that was a good thing he did. You haven't answered my question. What do you think of him asking if he need to take insulin. Skip to the 1 minute mark:
I have said twice in this thread (and will continue to say) that enacting that was a good thing he did. Yet, there is no reason to watch a 52 minute video to provide context into him wondering if he should be taking insulin. He literally stands there asking if he should be taking insulin. What context is there in that 52 minute video for any non-diabetic that doesn't want to put themselves into a possible coma to take insulin?
A 52 minute video in which the President announced: 1. Under President Trump’s leadership, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services is announcing that many Medicare Part D plans and Medicare Advantage plans have applied to offer lower out-of-pocket insulin costs to seniors for the 2021 plan year. 2. Across the Nation, participating enhanced Part D plans will provide many seniors with Medicare access to a broad set of insulins at a maximum $35 copay for a month’s supply of each type of insulin. 3. In 2018, Medicare Part D also started covering newer insulin delivery devices, including both mechanical and electronic insulin pumps that are not covered under Part B. 4. Lowering out-of-pocket insulin costs will provide the many Medicare beneficiaries who rely on one or more common forms of insulin with plan options that will deliver critical relief. And all you focused on was a joke he made because the price of insulin is going to be so low. You must not know any diabetics. It must be nice to have fully healthy friends and family members. God has blessed you but there are hundreds of thousands of Americans living with diabetes and they could care less about jokes, they need action. Trump delivered
By calling Black Lives Matter a symbol of hate? By equating support of the Confederate flag to Black Lives Matter? Give me a break, his history of blacks to the back stems way back.
