    Speaking of badasses...

Why are there no statues of Barbara Jordan? Everywhere?

A very good question just like why is it taking so long to put Harriet Tubman on the 20 dollar bill but there are statues of traitors in just about every state.

I don't know that there's ever been a great biography of Barbara, she's a classic awesome Texas lady,...there's some books and whatnot but nothing that merits her merits, at least that I've seen.

If you ever find one let me know.

This one hit me harder than most. He was a true legend and a very brave man. A real icon and grounded man.

A true legend. One of the very few Congressmen who I'm happy had such a long and distinguished service in the Congress. If only every member of our government was as principled...

I rarely agreed with his viewpoint, but never questioned his heart or patriotism. God speed Mr. Lewis.
