Word on the street is that once they take those Antifa Protesters in the van, you’ll never see them again. It’s like x-files ...I love it
I don't see how these officers not having ID/badge benefits anyone. The lack of ID and resulting possibility of confusion endangers both the public and the officers themselves and breeds distrust of the federal government. I don't think it's even making Donald Trump any more popular overall, either. I mean, he tried this no-ID federal officers thing in Washington DC around the time of his church photo op and that didn't work out very well. Is he really just trying to see how much authoritarianism Americans would accept?
I was thinking that doing acts like this would actually make many libertarians pissed off because libertarians get pretty easily triggered by any action done by the federal government but I also forgot that most libertarians in the US are fake Libertarians and just right wing bootlickers.
Because his nature is authoritarian, it looks like he's planning. But I think in reality, it's just an expression of his style and he doesn't know what he's doing. The result is chaos all the time. It's possible that it does accidentally end up in an authorization state.
One way to fix that, stay out of the city as per request. Don't start whining when your boogedy ass gets detained.
if Biden was doing something like this to some right wing protestors, these full of sh*t Trumpers would be outraged and all over this what we see now is crickets and a bunch of excuses/trolling
That is yet to be fully determined. What would you think as a law enforcer of people in the city at 2am under the cover of darkness after public request to shelter in place with potentially violent mobs around? BORTAC Supervisors to officers- "Only detain ordinary citizens - leave potentially violent mobsters or others with questionable motives alone."
