Barkley - Chris Paul kicking Houston's butt would be the greatest thing I've seen in a long time

Bring it. I would love to see that too We would wipe the floor with them.

Adams and Gallinari are going to get toasted when forced switches.

Who is Paul going to beat on a drive? Harden will shut him down and Russ will give crazy effort because he doesn’t wanna get embarrassed. Every other rotation player will keep him below average.

More worried about skinny Jokic. That might be a better player than than Anthony Davis.

Look how easily Chuck provokes the fanbase and the entire NBA nation

This is why he gets the big bucks

OKC probably won't make it out of the first round.

Even before this all started I would still think that. They are having a nice season and all but the playoffs prove you need superstars to win in 7 game series. They don't really have any. While CP3 can win them 2-3 games a series, if he's going against the likes of younger superstars??? I don't see it.

i watched a lot of okc games this past season and paul was typically relying heavily on gallo/schroeder/shai to carry the team first 3.5 quarters. that might work against the dallas and utah level teams, and perhaps even denver. but not against contenders

This is what I was going to say; he is just doing his job. The more response, the louder he will become. He is not a role model he is a talking head —> Entertainment.

Wouldn't worry about Gallo. He gets hurt once a week.

But yeah, no contenders are losing to OKC. Some inexperienced young team might like Utah, Dallas, maybe even Denver but I think they have enough experience to get past them.

I'm completely confident against OKC. Yeah, it's going to be sweaty, they are a passionate tough team, but I think NBA has shown that star power often wins out.

    exactly

we had people in the Russ thread trying to act like it’s CP3 carrying scrubs as if Shai, Scroder, and Gallo aren’t averaging almost 20 ppg each on good efficiency

post-Melo Nuggets won 57 games in 2013, and then lost in the 1st round

    Rockets in 5

this okc team won a ton of games in the final minutes so far this season. part of that was cp3 hitting timely clutch shots. but another large part of it was just having the ball bounce their way an inordinate number of times. methinks that luck evens out at some point between now and september :)

A pandemic or apocalypse is their best chance.

I like they were the clutchest team in the West and league shortly before the suspension.

And me thinks Westbrook just played an inefficient ball with OKC and dragged Schröder and PG13 down.

CP3 is a much better fit for any balanced and young teams.

Any team would have had problems against the Clips in best condition.

to that point, they’re currently the 5th seed, but have the 7th best point differential in the West at +2.4...Rockets are at +3.7 despite all the injuries and changes
