well those people are idiots...it’s clear what is meant when saying “black lives matter”...if somebody hasn’t understood or realized it by now, it’s because they don’t want to

the people yelling out “all lives matter” are being purposefully stupid and purposefully trying to distort the meaning of “black lives matter”...most of the people who say “all lives matter” hate black people or don’t even care about what they go through, so “all lives matter” coming from them is bullsh*t

How do “all lives matter” when u hate or don’t care about black people?

I would argue that the people shouting "all lives matter" are also doing what the OP is doing. Trolls long ago crawled out from under the bridges.

Forensics will be key. It’s difficult to shoot someone in the dark from distance with a handgun. The part that’s really suspicious is the guy shooting his gun at nobody in particular after she was shot. What are the odds that the caliber of his gun matches the bullet they took out of her?

This whole "Black Lives Matter" vs "All Lives Matter" thing is essentially "there is systemic racism towards Blacks" vs "there isn't systemic racism towards Blacks".

Probably the most clever thing the right wing has done is co-opting the term "all lives matter". Because now if you say it outside the context of BLM vs racists, some might mistaken you for someone who is against BLM.

Pretty clever of them. Still racist pieces of ****.

I mean they just turned the phrase "all lives matter" to a racist dog whistle

I don't understand the ignorance behind the responses that post got. It's laughable.

The ignorance and hilarity is there truly are people that this would calm down. I'm serious.

Obviously I'm not saying it would just turn a switch and people would get it all of a sudden. Obviously I'm not saying this should negate anything. But there are people that I've literally heard speak the words, "they think their lives are the only ones that matters..."

For that small segment of pea brained Trump voters, and ex-Trump voters, in their pseudo racist minds, this may be okay to them. Three simple letters. Laugh if you want. I don't care. It's a semi-serious statement on,a basketball message board, that is the truth.

BLM is a marxist organization. They have engaged in political terrorism and they are funneling money to the DNC. That's why people don't support BLM. No one, not even people who say all lives matter, thinks black lives are any more or less valuable than theirs. No one is racist who says that because it's not a racist statement. A racist would say white lives matter more than black people's. That's not what is being said. People who consider themselves mind readers, offer with no evidence, that it's somehow racist to say such a thing. Welcome to the political theater people. People are going to have differing views and they don't all have to fall into "they're part of group x." No one deserves violence regardless if they are racist as well. "Punch a nazi" was the open gate from the left that encouraged this attitude, and now it's come down to punch a white person or shoot someone you disagree with. Those of you who argued it wasn't a slippery slope were wrong. Anyone here who supported the "punch a Nazi" crap that was going around encouraged this street violence we are seeing in our political atmosphere. Ironically, punching and hurting those you disagree with is exactly what Nazis would do. You know who you are and you and the others supporting political violence, and avoiding civilized discourse, all have blood on your hands.

When an incident help define the BLM movement and the hate for all lives. This is like the flash spotlight effect. You can only see what you intend to see.

This is a direct result of the larger political culture that resulted after 2016 when the dems created a fake moral panic about supposed nazis nazis nazis everywhere, and then fanned the flames of political violence by mainstreaming it. This is the result and it's only going to get worse. Ironically this type of street violence and political terrorism is exactly what Nazis would be doing.

The problem is there are two completely different entities in play. One is an organic movement with a righteous message. The other is a well funded organization that’s grounded in Marxism. If you can separate the two it would be easier for everyone to get on board and the message would carry further. I’d argue one has brought the other down.

    ...okay, I got something...

Remember PFC Jessica Lynch, who was kidnapped and tortured by Iraqi forces?
When she was rescued, she returned here to a hero's welcome.

Every major news outlet did interviews with her. She was on the cover of every magazine. She had a movie made about her heroic struggle.

    She was America's darling.

Another soldier, SPC Shoshana Johnson, was also kidnapped and tortured by Iraqi forces around the same time. She was also wounded.
SPC Johnson didn't get a hero's welcome...or have a news interview...or have a movie made about her experience.

I don't know if anybody outside of SPC Johnson and her immediate family is even aware she exists.

    I wonder:

Both of those brave women suffered the same ordeal. Both were part of the same armed force (U.S. Army) and the same conflict. Both displayed exemplary bravery and were both rescued.

But most of us are aware of only one of those people. Only one of those persons (who were in the EXACT same situation), was celebrated and remembered and honored.

    Why?

Because of the media? That "corrupt" media would include Fox News, by the way, but that would be a place to start.
    Might be another reason, too...

...love to here thoughts on what that might be...
