It has to be awkward for the team to answer questions about why players aren't there. I know these players have lives to live, but the timing is really unfortunate. Hoping for a speedy recovery for Russ... This virus is not a joke.

It didn't take much to get there, specially since it stopped several Rockets members from travelling. Most Clutchfans members got the gist and why they didn't bother to publicize it. I guess for some it doesn't happen unless Shams or Woj explicitly spells it out for them.
I bet Russ had to say he has the Rona first because if Harden came out first with his diagnosis the media would have absolutely destroyed him and then blamed Harden for giving it to Russ.
it wasn't even shams/woj that broke this. wb himself told everyone. sure it would make sense that he did, but nobody here knew for sure. don't see what the issue is with people thinking oh we knew this anyway. no, people just assumed it. wb let people know his situation and now you move forward
