    This whole boycott thing and citizens united are both ****ed up demon spawn in the altar of capitalism. Weaponizing boycotts is usually the last resort to push costumer opinion but it's become the first salvo thrown American outrage culture that discourages discourse and resolution.

    We have these scrubbed and spun corporations potentially run by sociopaths, all of which are aiming for a higher stock price.

    This makes our economy seem more advanced, not sure about the society

    That was why I raised the question. There is a lot of criticism regarding Citizens United and the idea that money is speech yet that definitely seems to be the case as presented in this situation. That spending choice is a matter of speech.
