At this point it seems like he has done something and made some mortal enemies in the R party. These particular people seem to generally loathe him. Or is this just based on what he has done in office and what he is representing there with an R next to his name. It’s curious.
In the past, key tenets of the republican party were love of country, defense of the constitution, strong morals and law and order. Others might even add a balanced budget. The good people of Project Lincoln believe trump has violated all of these core tenets. And to continue supporting trump would cause them to violate their core beliefs. It appears a growing number of republicans agree.
Someone on trump's campaign staff probably told trump that golfing yesterday looked bad so trump tweeted out a whiny excuse/deflection...
work done on a golf course = browsing nazi, white supremacist, and racist sites, videos, and tweets then retweeting them
I've said for awhile that how Trump ties to the Saudis needs to be emphasized. His base is very anti-Muslim yet he's bent over backwards for them. People forget that his first veto was to allow the US to keep selling arms to the Saudis and he's done an end run around Congress to help out the Saudis. Also his famous Muslim ban didn't include Saudi Arabia. For a ban that was supposed to stop terrorism he left open the country where most of the 911 hijackers including the masterminds came from.
Do you have a favourite hobby? Now ask yourself, do you like to get away from work each day? Nothing to see here folks.
You or whoever you’re talking to was not elected to a 24/7 position that is the most important job in the world... If he’s merely relegated to “normal working man” that gets to get away from work everyday and do hobbies... he should also be subject to all the other lack of special rules everybody is forced to follow...
i mean come on - obviously, logically, right now, I wouldn't want to swap out biden with another candidate as yes, he clearly has the best chance of winning. This post of mine was more about that natural second guessing that happens in hindsight when the pre-election anxiety is gone. I think the more relevant point was the made earlier - that Biden will help you carry other offices that perhaps candidate X or Y wouldn't have
