I can see how Trump might lose voters with this because of the fact that Stone wasn't just put in jail for pleading guilty against pressure, etc. etc. He actually went to trial, and an impartial jury voted to convict. In our countries system of Justice its a pretty big deal to just toss out system in any normal situation. Much less in a situation where it's simply to protect oneself. When SOME normal Trump voters actually stop and pay attention to this one, I doubt alot will admit it, but alot will at least know in the back of their mind that this is pretty damaging to our country moving forward.

In the future a Democrat President can break all the laws in the world and any time the Justice system wants to lay down the law on his or her accomplices who have the goods on the Dem president, now under this new system of Justice, its now an accepted norm to just use the powers of the president to overturn justice and take care of the corrupt.

Again... few will admit it, but they all know this is just plain wrong, and I do believe for a few it might the straw that broke the camels back. Not that many, but a few.

Hey, remember that time Clinton let out all those mafiosos ..... Bush also let a bunch of people out. Didn't Obama let a terrorist out who is now running the funding for BLM? Big surprise... a president let someone out of jail. It's good to be the king.

Stone is a minor point. I doubt anyone who supports Trump is going to blink over this. The only people whose jimmies are rustled are the perpetually angry hate mob against Trump.

    Welcome @Wattafan !
never too late to be rational ! the one that baffles me still is @RocketsLegend the story there is interesting. How was he getting paid? Per post? Per view? Per like?

You see the same republican trolls here getting all the normal folks panties in a wad. It is quite easy for them to troll democrats. They dont mind making irrelevant points as long as it distracts. We spent weeks and weeks on " its just deaths" for coronavirus when we all knew that was a troll point right from the get. You really have to start to question those even engaging a troll.

Many here simple love being trolled as much as the trolls love getting people to respond then humiliate them. Trolls here are gluttons for humiliation
...Its a strange internet dance of people loving getting trolled along with the trolls who loved to be pissed on. Wild wacky funny stuff. Im back at my original part that the trolls here are just characters playing a devoted part. Obviously many are the same person with alt accounts. Likely arguing with themselves. Good stuff.

The ones that come in medium and don't let on they are trolls are easy to spot too but perhaps more devoted to the character? On a basketball bbs? Im not that busy but I don't have time for that either.. People are funny and have their hobbies. Literally trolling here is their thing. I think its funny now. I used to think it was sad and sick but its taken a turn to funny. I like senator dachuda even though i know they are troll accounts i think they are funny. They also do a great job to promote biden.

Same for jorge. Ive grown to find his clown show to be quite entertaining. Jorge and stone are like peas in a pod. That crazy drunk uncle that can be fun but also uncomfortable... Its fun to get that character here since he cant ask my daughter to sit on his lap in person. This bbs is a safe space

So wattafan the cool part is that we can criticize biden or always try to do better. We are not bound to one person like republicans that have sold their soul and principles to one person.

That has been the hardest cringe is watching republicans try to spit moral or god or whatever talk for years and years leading up to this.
... And to be fair there are some misguided good people that are republican. Then now with trump it has been cringe seeing them do gymnastics to defend things like this stone deal or pay off p*rn stars or whatever else. You are free of that now and the second biden acts up he is gone too.

Of the people for the people!

King huh? Lol... telling ...but thats not how any of this works.

even your boy roberts refers to the president in terms of "every man"

    you still on vacation mentally?
do you like istanbull grill? any there other spots in town that do takeout you like? Rona got me tripping to morningside but inside the whole time. If there was less ergodan and more ac I might go for the real thing since its one of few places usa passport can go? Makes betraying those kurds all the more worth it!!
    Cacik ftw!!

I’m amused at the outrage when other presidents have done so in similar fashion ,,a U.S. soldier who passed top-secret information to WikiLeaks. A former Joint Chiefs of Staff vice chairman To a certain President, who’d been convicted of making false statements about a leak of classified information to The New York Times. ...it happens on both sides, nothing new, will continue to be done. When Biden is elected as I think he will, Guess what? he will do it too

You are equating the power of the president to pardon to the outright corrupt and criminal use of it to protect himself.

Vermont Sen. Patrick Leahy asked Barr if a president can "offer a pardon in exchange for the witness's promise not to incriminate the president."
"No, that would be a crime," Barr replied.

Which past president use the power of pardon in exchange for someone to not incriminate him? Name the pardon.

Just like they don't blink at his do nothing approach to the pandemic and his lies about our deaths being the lowest in the world, and his refusal to listen to experts, and anyone else raising red flags right now? Just like they didn't blink at his mask optional rallies?

Just like they don't blink at his nepotism? Just like they didn't blink in May of 2018 when Ivanka Trump's business received approval for several new Chinese trademarks a week before President Trump announced that he wanted to lift the ban on the Chinese company ZTE, for violating US sanctions? Just like they didn't blink when in 2017 when her business received three new Chinese trademarks on the same day she dined with Chinese President Xi Jinping?

Just like they don't blink at his admiration of Putin, and his catering to Russian interests in foreign policy? Just like they don't blink at the profit he makes off foreign leaders, government employees, and policy makers at his Trump owned properties? Just like they don't blink at his praise of the Saudi crown prince, and his ignoring of questions on the Khashoggi killing?

Just like they don't blink at his 261 days golfing at a cost of over $137,000,000? Just like they don't blink at the fact that his family has taken 12 times more taxpayer funded trips than the Obama family? The list goes on...........

Puppets don't blink. They don't think or act by themselves. They are manipulated by the puppet master.

Obviously that was tongue and cheek. Also, and this is friendly advice, maybe try cooking for yourself so delivery drivers don't bring you viruses from chefs who don't wear masks.

I am not usually a conspiracy minded guy but this disunity currently flowing through our nation is unsettling.
The whipping up of racist issues whether right or wrong is dividing this country before our eyes.
I can't put my finger on why the powers that be want it this way but I don't like it.
As a white guy, I feel very threatened.
You might find that somewhat surprising but if you think about it, white people are seen as the root cause of this nations ills right now.
Just look at the white supremacists and the concentration of racist blame being focused on us and I am not a supremacist nor a racist. I consider myself an a-theist secular humanist and really quite harmless.
I want nothing more for this country than to see it rise to its full potential and to see it being pulled in so many directions is just sad to me.
I also like to think I am rational and logical - one does not become rational overnight - but you can change your mind.

Ultimately it's the media's fault and the WHO, and Fauci, who were all caught lying about Corona, and in the media's case, many many times before Corona, so now people can't and don't trust those institutions and figure heads. If there was more truth from these groups, I promise more people would take it seriously. Even people dumb enough to go to a Corona party.

Probably China and other foreign actors are fueling the groups that are pushing this too... just a hunch.

well if you buy into the "order through chaos" theories, then it is suitable.

IMO a large part of the general cultural movement in America is related to the fact that the billionaire class didn't like the Occupy movement and felt threatened, because it was targeting the increasing wealth gap. After that, that's when the race politics ramped up and started dividing the masses. Now we fight each other and hey they're safe and they get more control.

I refuse to buy that corporate America doesn't have some level of control... they've always been super powerful and the rich have the ability to buy politicians and fund entire movements. BLM for example, likely has some sketchy funders we just don't get let in on. They've got a terrorist running their funding actually, so there is nothing on the up about it.

Overall, it's chaos and it's hard to make sense of why people are rebelling for corporate mainstream interests.... this take was interesting recently.

I watched the first couple minutes but it is gonna be too long for me at 24 mins.
I imagine there is a "handbook" on how to control the masses.
It seems like we are all nothing but puppets - and we even pay our dues.
