Man I hope Biden completely demolishes Trump. And then I will instantly regret that the Democrats didn't have a better nominee that would have probably just as easily won.
Why should this be the end of "it"? If all the things Trump has said about Africa has not ended "it" why Biden. Really don't think Trump wants to get into a soundbite battle.
Part of me agrees with this but a Biden beatdown plus a sizable Senate margin vs a someone else comfortable win and close Senate - I'd choose the former. We need to blitz the mother****ers in January Chuck and Nancy take your vitamins and drink your metamucil.

Of course I'm glad that your family is having a change of heart. But what does anybody mean by "fiscal conservative Republican?" Is that a nostalgia thing? We haven't had a fiscally conservative Republican president in decades. And, all that time, the Democrats have been the party of fiscal responsibility. R's are the anti-government aid, assistance, infrastructure and regulation spending party. But those expenditures, each of which contribute to the health and welfare of our country and its citizens, is dwarfed by their gigantic tax cuts for the super-rich. If R's are fiscal conservatives, why do D presidents keep having to bail us out of recessions? If R's are fiscal conservatives, why do they perpetually forget about the deficit as soon as they're sworn into office? (R's have consistently run up the deficit for decades as well.) I don't expect you to challenge your mother on this (you shouldn't, obviously), but I would really like to hear from anyone here that's still laboring under the long-since outdated myth that the fiscally conservative party is the Republican one. It isn't. The Democratic party is the fiscally conservative party and it has been since Bill Clinton.

You could (and probably will) choose to believe this, but it doesn't make it true. Everyone else knows better - the reason for any beatdown will largely be that Biden captures the middle and doesn't alienate big chunks of voters or give them any reason to vote against him. It was the key reason of Bidne's appeal. This is exactly what people told you would happen - you just want to keep warping the facts to fit your bizarre reality.
