I am not saying that sex was controlled but yes they were treated as animals even pets can develop their own attractions and attachments but like pets their offspring can be sold off.
Under the law slaves (black Americans) were treated as property and almost zero protections. The way a slave was treated 100% depended on who owned them.... which was and is disgusting.

Isn't this the guy that used the specialized shoe, the professional pacers, course designed to be quick, etc? The shoe alone improves your speed by like 4%. Not sure if he's break 2 hours without it. A flaw in his argument is that different sports require different attributes. Speed vs power vs explosiveness doesn't map with making a slave able to work longer hours in a field. Not to mention the time frame you'd have to do that over before you could get results. It's just a very uninformed and ignorant viewpoint based on taking something that he doesn't know anything about (breeding) and applying it to something he knows nothing about (slavery)
I took a DNA test and saw it read 10 percent Native American , at first I was excited thinking I was part crow or Cherokee maybe but then I realized some other percentages was Portuguese and Spaniard and Realized how yea Cortez And the Spaniards went to Central America And had lots of sex with the natives ...Bummer

Slaves weren't limited to their plantation. They encountered slaves from other plantations. We all think about the big plantation but a lot of slaves were on smaller farms with only a few slaves. They traveled with their owners and encountered other slaves

See this is the part I am not getting. It did not take thousand plus years to create different species of cattle or dogs, is that because of the ability of those animals to procreate earlier than humans? How about the fact that tallness tends to run in families? I am not talking about breeding to change an entire race I am just talking about as an example tall people procreating with tall people and that makes a better chance of having a pro ball player, not guaranteed but a better chance. Also if 2 parents are athletes its a better chance for their offspring to excel, I guess it's more of probability question with selective breeding. How do genes factor in the equation when procreating along bloodlines. I mean there is a reason most skill positions in football and basketball are populated mostly with black people and white people have had better nutrition than blacks historically in the U.S.
