Completely agree TV news on the whole is not worth watching. It’s generally noise in the background showing people yelling at each other for 2-3 minutes trying to get that viral clip.

This is purely elder abuse at this time. Someone needs to start a movement to free Joe. If it wasn’t so pathetic, it is actually funny, but there is nothing funny about losing your minds. I'm one of the 2% of people who voted GREEN last election. I've never been a D or R and use to lean libertarian before that party became just as whack as the other 2. . Not this time. A vote for anyone other than Biden is a vote against our democracy as we know it. This country can barely stand 4 more months of Trump. I shudder to think what kind of havoc he would reap if left unchecked over the next 4 years.
It is difficult to dislodge an incumbent and one thing DT does very well is waffle on - Joe, not so much.
I voted for the stoner who didn't know where Aleppo is. Biden is as responsible as anyone for the division that exists in this country today (see Bork, Robert and separately Hill, Anita). baring some change, I'll vote for the woman in the race, Jo Jorgensen, and sleep well at night.
Her platform is terrible. She has about as basic an understanding of the constitution as trump does, which is zero. This is based on her own responses in interviews

This is more than some language flubs bro. You know it, the Dems know it. They’re just using poor old Joe to get in the door. I worked with memory care patients for quite a few years back when I was still practicing. If I was to take you to one of the facilities I used to visit, you would instantly recognize that Biden belongs to this group.
It is a problem with the far left that much like the right, they are often intolerant of other voices. Many times I find those on the left to be self-righteous in their views on social justice issues and not open to any kind of counterpoint or critical thinking. It is in fact what I wanted to explore when I first joined this board as NYer, and suspect what drives @Os Trigonum
There is an attractive simple elegance to this view. I like the logic. But, don't forget who Biden is. He's not exactly AOC. As we get closer to election day, we'll hear more loudly from the Biden campaign (and ex-Republican anti-Trumpers) and the progressive voices of the social justice warriors will quiet. Trump will try to tar Biden with everything he thinks are the excesses of the progressives, but we'll be seeing a lot more of Biden himself. And he's pretty moderate. And he'll be aiming for the middle of the road. What appears to be the moderates' dilemma today will be gone by October.
