    I would think whether Trump knew about it or not, a strong statement condemning this, as the White House has not denied it, would be on order. Should have already been done.

    To use the popular quote of the day, "silence is complicity."

    Also, I think the last remaining Trump scragglers (those that are angry about people who kneel for the anthem) would find this disturbing. Right? Right???!

    What did the CIA know and did they have any operational responses as a result of these threats? Did DIA know and did they pass the intelligence to the commanders of US/NATO forces in Afghanistan? March 5th their was a drone strike on the Taliban days before a potential peace deal was to be finalized. Was this a reaction to the threat? Was the US troop reduction in June a response to these threats? Nobody can answer those questions in this forum.

    As far as Trump goes... I don't care. He's an idiot and if he didn't know or wasn't told or whatever we are probably better off. I trust the intelligence agenices to handle it more than him and that is saying something considering how wrong their targeting officers are in active theaters.

    I don't think I can name 3. That's the point. Herridge has been all over her facts lately. She goes out of her way to provide proof and documentation. You don't see that with anyone from the NYT. It's always 'sources' because the Times gets used as political tools. You'd think at some point when you've been wrong so many times and even won a pulitzer from reporting complete bulls!t, you would be tired of doing someone's bidding. I mean wouldn't you tell the 'source' to go F himself since he screwed you over on the last two articles?

    US intelligence is the source via interrogations of militants (if you read any of the 30 million articles out there right now you'd know this) and John Ratcliffe isn't denying it but rather defending the president saying he wasn't briefed (He was).

    Why are you trying to hard though to protect Trump?
