I skipped pages 2 through 8 in this thread. Was there any evidence that contradict's the white house's statement that POTS and VP were not briefed on that? I know there's endless speculation and accusations. But we've been here before. It's the age old story of the Boy Who Cried Wolf. The NYT is no longer a trusted source by any measure and retweets from the left don't prove anything to me.

If they were briefed and didn't put out the statement, I wouldn't be upset as long as they were working on a response. I have a feeling we're going to get into a technical issue with the choice of words used for the denial. If there is actual proof within these posts, I'd like to read it. I just don't want to waste my time on 8 pages if we are in the tired old pattern of unreliable news sources misreporting or distorting context and we have 7 pages of opinions.
