Bismuth, the active ingredient in Pepto Bismol, reacts with the sulfur in your guts to form bismuth sulfide. This is why your crap is black after taking it.

It is simply amazing how much more toothpaste is in a tube even when you think it is empty.

During the Cold war and 60s civil rights movement, the United States and Russia had a years long technology race to have the first black astronaut in space and bring diversity.

Nah, I don't take the stuff normally. Was at the ladyfriend's and had a little heartburn (lasagna was delicious though)...no Tums in my truck for some reason so I had to improvise.

If you're standing on Venus, the sky is black even during the day because it has no atmosphere.

The atmosphere of Venus is composed of 96.5% carbon dioxide, 3.5% nitrogen, and traces of other gases, most notably sulfur dioxide.

Atmospheric pressure at the surface of Venus is 93 bar which is roughly the pressure you would find 300 feet under the ocean because of runaway greenhouse gasses. It's also roughly 875 degrees Fahrenheit.
