    American intelligence officials have concluded that a Russian military intelligence unit secretly offered bounties to Taliban-linked militants for killing coalition forces in Afghanistan — including targeting American troops — amid the peace talks to end the long-running war there, according to officials briefed on the matter.

    The United States concluded months ago that the Russian unit, which has been linked to assassination attempts and other covert operations in Europe intended to destabilize the West or take revenge on turncoats, had covertly offered rewards for successful attacks last year.

    Bounties to kill US troops? ..... hmmm Let me talk to Putin about it.

    On a serious note I cannot fathom how any military or ex military can vote for Trump... from his chickening out of Nam... to his calling a captured soldier a loser... to so many ex well respected military generals calling Trump a monster... and now just ignoring bounties on US soldiers.

    So here's the next logical question... did the republican-led senate intelligence committee also know about this... and if yes, for how long? We may not only need to question trump's loyalty, but also republicans in the senate.

    If our President wasn't bought and paid for by Russia it would be fairly easy to, say, find out where this Russian intel unit lays their head at night and then, say, drop a jdam or tomahawk in their living room.
