Funny, given how "Dixie" dropped the "Chicks" ("we're ashamed of George W. Bush!"; "tyranny! SQUAWK! tyranny!") long ago.

Given where their career is, a re-branding would be a smart move. What would make more sense though would be a change in sound and influence too. I think the broad genre of "indie" would welcome their talent with more of an organic throwback style of music. Sort of early Fleetwood Mac WITH Stevie Nicks would be the sound I think they would do well with. People are so tired of Country Pop nonsense, and they are REALLY sick of artists trying too hard to go into synth pop like Arcade Fire tried to, etc.

I think the music world would welcome these three artists (Dixie Chicks, Chicks, whatever) if they got away from the Country Pop garbage music industry that is tied to ultra Trumpers currently. Some of the lyrics and junior high song structure coming out of that industry is laughable.

So the people who hated them in 2003 will still hate them.
