IHart was going to get guaranteed, so this is a cost cutting move to some extent. I don’t like it. Bruno can’t rebound to save his life. Unfortunately, IH didn’t have athleticism.
I can see the Rockets trading Eric Gordon for SF’(s) / PF(s) and if the pecking order was: Harden.....Eric Gordon.....Ben McLemore now it’s Harden.....Ben McLemore.....David Nwaba (when healthy) Rather have $2.3M (Ben Mc) coming off the bench than Gordon’s $16.8M.........followed by Nwaba’s $900K Still have Austin Rivers as well, I believe. Player Option.
It wasn’t going to be guaranteed until after resumed season was complete. Waiving him now as a active player for someone who can’t play wouldn’t be something I would have done
I agree, but will Nwaba be able to do anything of note after recovery? Ivan Rabb or Donta Hall would have been better fits. But, MDA and DM believe only in small ball. TC could mentor a young big till the end of the season. Will Clemons be waived for one of them? I doubt it. Tyler Johnson could come in his place. We don’t need him with Rivers around.
I guess the leg transplants didn't take. Seriously, he had the world's worst defensive footwork. Iso roadkill. I'm just sorry we couldn't get anything for him.
There’s alsys one idiot who finds rationale in a bonehead move. Tyler Johnson just signed with the Nets....
Here is an example I threw together. Not sure if NY would part with Mitchell. Houston: Eric Gordon x Knicks: Mitchell/Bullock/Knox http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=ycsayq6d Rockets use Eric Gordon contract to spread the wealth over several positions. Nwaba gets moved further down the list until stronger. Or get cut......only $900K. Eric attracts better free agents to NY than a mere Mitchell. I’m guessing. Edited: sure trade needs adjusting after the season as EGo goes up in pay this off season.
Yet another Morey’s draft pick gone with no team return. Maybe just over gifting them in trades is more effective.
EG has lost 12 pounds recently. I hope he can pull himself together for the last time. We need him for the playoffs. This would increase his trade value too.
Isiah wasnt going to play anyways. Mike would of adjusted the line up and moved Carroll or Jeff Green to the starting line up. He also would have reduced the line up to 8 men. Isiah was not going to play. Stop talking as if he was. The only way he would of played is if Mike was down to 7 players and even then he probably would have played him 10 minutes only.
He isn't any good. I'm surprised he lasted on the team as long as he did. Sure, Clemons would have been a better cut but it is what it is.
