People can debate the older eras at this moment til the sky turns green but for the modern nba and having steph curry at 13 and James Harden at 42 is the dumbest list of all time.
Google showing that Cali bias. 3 of the top 4 players are Lakers. Lebron shouldn't be #1. Can move to Miami or LA, but can't ever wash the Akron away.
Google doesn't rank players. It just shows you lists made by whoever. It's a search engine, not a sports site.
I don’t know why people are perplexed about the rankings from an analytical standpoint; it’s literally just showing who gets searched the most. That’s it. That being said, I have a really hard time believing people have typed in more google searches for old schoolers like Bob Cousey, John Havlicek, Elgin Baylor and George Gervin over...James Harden? I get that people have to read about old players to learn who they are, but surely Harden would generate a ton of searches by being a current superstar, dating a Kardashian, etc. It’s not surprising that Lebron is searched most often, but Harden being 42 is quite shocking
Don't see it not with the like of MJ and HO and many others that came before him that have much better game.
i dont and ill be really surprised if he actually does enough to merit that. Im not saying is not possible, but his career has too many fails to pass michael, unless he finishes with like 3 more championships. You can always make the total career value case, where he plays like 20 seasons, to mj 13 and gets a lot more total stats and stuff, but i dont see him at his age, getting more mvps, maybe 1 championship ( this season most likely), but even him has to age at some point. All this, its not a hit on him, i mean, being 2nd or 3rd all time is amazing feat, and for the younger people on this forum, its the first guy since Michael that can make that case. I like lebron, but at this point i feel he is a bit overrated by people who think he is the goat.
