Donald Trump was the closest thing Bolton had to starting war with Iran. He was probably pleasuring himself to Trump's threats to pull out of the nuclear deal before joining the administration.
Bolton is intelligent. He's used his intelligence to advocate for and propose awful things. Trump is a moron. The only reason we're not in even more trouble now, geopolitically, is that Trump is too inept to pull anything off. If Bolton had worked for an actual stable genius, **** could've gotten real around the world.
That's a interesting nugget about the micro targeting but I don't know if there are these types that will register if they all ready have not. These suppression tactics are the real issue but I hope the Georgia fiasco has shown enough light on the issue.
Both Trump and Bolton are horrible people but Bolton is a warmonger and one of the few things good about Trump is he doesn't appear to be a warmonger. He talks a tough game but he usually hasn't backed it up. Bolton bought into Trump's rhetoric only to realize that he was really a paper tiger and more interested in ingratiating himself to authoritarian leaders than taking them on.
Considering he got a $2 million advance I don't think anyone should feel bad for Bolton. I doubt he is spending anytime feeling sorry for himself.

There was a follow up question where I think the reporter was trying to trap him. It was something like "did you talk with Bolton about Coronavirus"? Trump said no. My BP rose while reading. The reporter asked if Trump would be ok with Ivanka attending his rally and not wearing a mask. Trump started his answer and then veered into how he signed something giving New Jersey a big bridge. He eventuality said no because only 1 person under 18 has died from it in NJ. (Not sure why he chose 18, considering she is pushing 40)

Do you realize that not one liberal here would care if Bolton went to jail? And putting Bolton in jail would be politically stupid. One of the biggest pieces of information about Trumps affect on his polling has been when voters are asked about Trump gassing peaceful protestors for a photo op. Him prosecuting someone as punishment for speaking out would be so incredibly thuggish it would send Trumps approval in the tank. Of course you’d love it but you are in the minority of people in this country who want a right wing dictatorship obviously. But people like you are not enough in the USA to allow for a successful shift to an autocratic form of society. So go ahead Trump and Bill Barr... order officers to arrest John Bolton. It would massively help Joe Biden win in November. Also Bolton would win in a trial easily. There’s not 12 jurors in this country that you could find that wouldn’t see corrupt intent on the part of DOJ, and the trial would just be a referendum on Trump. Not Bolton.
So secretary of state mike pompeo, who previously said he wasn't part of calls between trump and ukraine, now says he was on the call and bolton is lying. So was pompeo lying before, or now?
