    I'm guessing this was a lot more than fisticuffs. This is worrisome but I don't think this will lead to major war. The PRC and India have been arguing over their border since the 1960's and have fought low grade wars. They also have a lot of trade and other ties too. I think the leaders of both countries realize what is at stake and will just continue to agree to disagree on their border.

    If ground troops are communicating very likely in English, and I'm not joking. Most educated Indians speak English and many In the PRC have at least studied some English.

    If during the midst of conflict they are swearing at each other it probably is in English too. American movies are popular enough in both countries that they would know what "F^& Off!" means.
