Death threats for public health officials- Karen Kulture takes a dangerous turn?

Looks like half the people in this thread are confused and think the link and story genuinely have something to do with the trendy Karen joke.

This is awesome. Did you see that her husband lost his investment firm job, just for standing in the background of her infamous Karen-ing?

 

I have some mixed feelings about this. Their lives are very likely ruined by this. The neighborhood they live in in SF is very expensive and I have a hard time seeing how another company there would hire either of them especially at the pay they were making. They likely will lose their house from this.
Granted what they did was awful, especially when Alexander said she knew who lived there not realizing that she was talking to the homeowner and just presumed it was safe to lie because there was no way a minority writing "Black Lives Matter" could live in that neighborhood.

This was racist, it was ignorant and it was out of touch but I don't think what they did was malicious like what Amy Cooper did.

They definitely deserve to be called out for this but destroying their lives I'm not sure about that.

 

It's troubling how this is escalating.

 

I don't know if he should have lost his job but he did a little more than stand behind her. He was chiming in as well.

 

They should be publicly quartered bestgore style and their remains set on fire as a peaceful protest
