When a shootin' starts, the lootin' starts? Is that right, or do I reverse and repeat? F' it. Arm everyone and their toddlers!!!
I was gonna defend Juan de Onate till I realized that dude collected hundreds of severed Left feet,..If it was right feet at least I could say he’s on my side
It's always somewhat interesting to me why there is never any discussion of how unbelievably evil tribes were to each other during wars and raids. I understand that these conquistadors are easy targets and rightfully so, but the extreme violence between tribes is always ignored. The classic South American empires were on a whole other level with their weird sacrifices, slaves, and butchery of rivals. Was Columbus any more evil than the leaders he conquered? [end weird off topic rant]
He and the Spanish are part of their states history New Mexico wasn’t founded by Koreans yeah it was a bad history , but the Conquistadors forced all of Latin America to worship Jesus Instead of the ancient alien gods History should always be taught , it’s good to know the truth
I’m not understanding the reasoning to topple the statue. I did a bit of research Of his background, the fact he was a barbaric Spaniard and what this has to do with current events I’m not connecting the dots ...it makes no sense but this is 2020, it makes as much sense as Spaniards toppling El CID statue atop his horse bavieca just because it’s there
I mean they burnt down a Wendy’s in Atlanta cause someone got killed by the cops in the parking lot and the family was ok for them burning down Wendy’s Which had zero influence on the man’s death We have people drinking disinfectants Russians can easily make fake accounts It’s ok to attack the wrong business cause the Karen you are trying to attack works in a different city and a different company , but it’s ok to do that cause you can’t spell San Francisco and think it’s spelled Los Angeles
The focus needs to return the criminal that shot a protestor over a statue. We can start another thread about the history of the despot.
Statues and monuments bring people together Except the Hakeem statue that Les made was so cheap people don’t ever clamor around it , especially if there’s sale on hot dogs nobody goes to the Statue of Liberty because they like standing in the middle of a cold ass island
Did you watch the video? The person In question was chased, accosted and assaulted. He was about to get hit successive times by a skateboard. ( all while trying to retreat) If anyone did that to me I’d shoot them too. Pure self defense.
I guess it's because they're mostly dead, splintered, hidden away or mixed in (strong euphemism) to brag or feel sorry about it?
Now I know what you may say, but he pushed a woman first, great call the police for him to receive battery/assault charges, but the minute they try to mob justice him, he is in self defense mode and the great thing is the video supports that for him
Also good call for the police to disperse the crowd or things could have gotten worse between the statue lovers and haters
