Staying home takes balls. But at the same time is a sissy move? o_O

Actually pretty interesting. Let's say Giannis decided to stay home instead of coming to Orlando. Other players in the East (Butler, Embiid, Siakam, etc) who originally wanted to also stay home, might now have more incentive to come to Orlando to play, since the path to the Finals is easier if a star player on an opposing team sits out.

Spotlight is definitely on the star players.

    Crazy.

Stars would be the focus, but imagine if the Lopez brothers stay home. The Bucks would be cooked without them. Every team has non-stars that would potentially make things tough for them if they stay home.

I think players are really tripping about potentially being in house arrest for 8 straight weeks. They could bring their family around eventually, but how many will be fiending for some side action or whatever they do to unwind?

Tell you why the Lopez brehs won't stay at home, what they would do after the Playoffs.

I'm not at all against players not wanting to play.

I'm 87% sure Kyrie's flat earth commentary was trolling.

With that said, does anyone else think that Kyrie is straight up kind of... like... dumb?

He reminds me a lot of Arian Foster. Tries to be interesting and deep, but there's not actually any depth there.

He sure can dribble and finish, but, let's be honest, he owes his stardom mostly to LeBron & Nike. And LeBron wants to HOOP.

I have compared him to Foster the exact same way you just did. He is a moron and I can't believe players are gonna listen to him of all people.

Yep. But now they shouldn't be. By all means, stay home...just don't expect to get paid for staying home.

If they're that upset...find another occupation. They're getting millions of dollars...they seem to keep forgetting that. Here they have a clear choice.
