She threw in FDR because he was disabled, which is Trump’s mind is worse than the institution of slavery.

You would rather rename them with Civil War generals that killed Americans?

How about we just don’t name them after people.

All wars can be considered bad, who is the arbitrator of that.

Who says those Confederate men were honorable?

Trying to conflate the Vietnam war with the Civil War is a reach, I can usually understand your other side arguments but this just like equating Washington statues to Civil War generals.

You lost me on this one.

Fort Donald, Fort Don Jr, Fort Eric, Fort Ivanka, Fort Barron, Fort Tiffany (probably the smallest, least meaningful), Fort Melania, Fort Putin, Fort Pence, and Fort Mar a Lago.

    Settled.

these people betrayed America...they are traitors who got their asses handed to them

they are symbols of racism and white supremacy

All Confederate monuments should be placed in museums. If u want to learn about the traitors to America, u can go see them there. Why are American military bases named after people who fought against America?

I think the bottomline is we shouldn't be naming military bases that are there for the defense of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA for men who took arms against the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

History is written by the winners except it seems for the Civil War..

That's what I said earlier. Don't name things after people. Fort Lion, or whatever. Lions probably won't get on the wrong side of history.

People who use this line of argument are either 1) too dumb to understand the nuance of the various factors that make the Confederates not worthy of public veneration especially versus the founding fathers or 2) dishonest concern trolls who know better.

And I am pretty sure my "Trump administration apologist" qualifier fits your 2 criteria.
